EarthCore Resources Ltd. was founded in 2025 by Dr. Mohammad Afzal to apply world-class subsurface geology, formation evaluation, and wireline logging expertise to the next generation of clean energy and strategic resource development.

EarthCore was established to address a critical gap in the energy transition: the limited application of deep subsurface expertise to emerging domains such as naturally occurring hydrogen and helium, geothermal energy, and critical mineral exploration. By repurposing proven oil and gas methodologies for clean-energy applications, EarthCore reduces exploration risk, accelerates development timelines, and improves capital efficiency.
With Canada as its foundation, EarthCore is being developed as a platform company that supports the country’s future energy economy by advancing energy security, emissions reduction, and responsible resource development, while selectively scaling its technologies and partnerships globally.
